Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from. A declining trend compresses what a buyer would pay.

Have used this plugin for several years and seen it regularly block malicious users. It takes a little effort to setup as per your requirements, but can be very useful if you need to block certain countries, proxies and/or VPNs.

I had my non-profit website’s donnation page an attack by hackers to test stolen credit card. This plugin had denied 99% access to hackers’s access through proxies and VPN. This topic was modified 10 months, 2 weeks ago by ssiddiqi4.

Well I was using a VPN and forgot. Went to my domain to check on something and it showed that I was using a proxy or VPN (which I do not allow). Bit surprised but very happy.

I’ve used this plugin on about a dozen sites over the past few years and it keeps improving. I’ve installed it on sites that were hosted by a number of providers and never had a situation where it didn’t work.

Great plugin for integrating with proxycheck.io! Get your API and rules well defined there and it works as described! Great followup from plugin author as well. Thanks! This topic was modified 4 months, 2 weeks ago by lazyym.

Didn’t get the API Key, and no emails at all. Either at Proxycheck they don’t want me (or they don’t want WP-users in general); or they’re down. I removed the plugin.
