I wanted to highlight the great support. During usage of PRO version I observed some bug, which was quickly fixed by Team. I really appreciate it and thanks to that I cleaned my disk space on server. Thank you!

Not sure why so many people are griping about the free version not able to do anything. Just pay the price for the software, unlock the features, and get the job done! People who write plugins have to eat too! I had to regenerate 20,000 thumbs today due to a spelling mistake in the watermark. RTA did it quick, easy, and professionally. No fuss, no crashes, no scratching my head trying to understand it. Giving a plugin one star, just because you don’t want to pay is not cool. Star ratings are for functionality, not because you didn’t get a free ride!

Simply predatory, no need to waste time on writing anything else. Don’t support plugins like this.

Useless: this plugin can only regenerate thumbnails for free, nothing else. For all other things like deleting unused thumbnails etc. you have to pay a monthly or yearly subscription, things you can do with a code snippet for free.

It can’t even delete files with unregistered sizes. Useless!

They basically paywalled all the features that used to make the plugin stand out and were previously free. Some of my customers still use their regular plugin or CDN, and even they have to pay for it now. Fortunately, Exactly WWW stepped up and offered some of the same functionalities with their plugin “Force Regenerate Thumbnails” – and it’s free. To be honest, EWWW IO is the better image optimizer anyway, even if it’s not as fancy looking as ShortPixel. I’m going to avoid ShortPixel-related products for now, because who knows what they’ll start charging for next. I can’t and won’t rely on tools from authors who may revoke access on a whim and without any warning.

It is inconceivable that ShortPixel could implement such a money-grabby move as making this plugin not just paid, but not even included for any ShortPixel customers who are paying for their regular plugin or the CDN. And there aren’t incredible new features that are paywalled; they just locked up features that were previously free. Truly disgraceful. I expected better from ShortPixel.

I’m extremely disappointed with the latest update to reGenerate Thumbnails Advanced. Features that were once available for free are now locked behind a paywall in the pro version. It feels like a money grab, and it’s frustrating to lose access to tools I relied on without any warning. I used to recommend this plugin, but this change is a real letdown.
