High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 10+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.2.39, well behind 6.8.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

I wasn’t having any hope after 4 years without any release, but I gave it a chance, and miracle : it’s still working perfectly !

This is a great plugin, picking up where s2Member leaves off in file management. It doesn’t seem to be perfectly current and I hope that the author continues to support it!

I have been watching the DL reports each morning and have noticed that this plug in has been reporting huge numbers for only 1 download. I got concerned one day because it showed 65 DLs for the same file for 1 user. I emailed that user and asked what the problem was and they replied none… they only downloaded it once. I kinda hate the fact that it doesn’t record an actual completed download but it only counts when the Downloader clicks “ok to DL”. It doesn’t report successful (only) downloads. But I can live with that. When I test it, it works completely fine for me, with other users its about half and half in regards to accuracy. Can someone point me in the right direction to fix this problem? What to check, ect… I like the plug in a lot thus far but if its not accurate then its not very useful and I’ll need to deactivate and delete it.

This is one of the most useful plugins I’ve ever downloaded. Through it I now have an advanced search feature on my site which indexes all s2member files… brilliant. Well done.

After spending days trying to search for the right solution, this plugin is the best out there. It effectively acts as a sharepoint allowing you to enable users to view & download files – directories can be restricted to different user positions. The support is the best I have ever received for a plugin too. Raphael got back to me within one day with steps to help me configure the plugin to my needs. 5 stars. Worth a donation too.
