High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 6+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 5.2.26, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

The app hasn’t been updated in 7 months. Not tested with current versions of WordPress. In terms of keeping up with current trends in e-commerce and provided value to both customers and merchants alike, I feel the integration/settings are woefully inadequate in providing a good customer experience. GTMetrix: Adds 4 requests. Totaling 25KB in 9.6s I would like the ability to chose where to position the trust mark on the website. A floating bar is an antiquated way of adding these things. In the footer During checkout. Widget If the app/service is going to request reviews… does it integrate with the woocommerce email templates (eg: Completed order)? Can the merchant use the reviews for testimonials on the website by way of a widget / shortcode? From a merchant point of view, Trust Seals are good to display as it can increase conversions. It appears only to service Safeshop by creating customer-generated content for their ecosystem. 2 stars because it works, but at this point adds little value at this time.
