Biggest opportunity: Swap “community” for “dvd”. “community” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “dvd” sits at #7 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →1.1%
of downloads still active
At least 50 of 4.3K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Social plugin keeps 0.5%, across 1,276 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Social plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
Removal-risk signals
53/100Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.
- Long abandoned. No update in 3+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
- Falling behind WordPress. Tested up to WordPress 6.1.16.

wp.org is where the directory puts the plugin for that search. On merit is where it would sit if results were ranked on rating, support and updates, without the install boost. The last column is how far the wp.org position moved, from our first reading in the last 90 days to the latest.
| Keyword | wp.org | On merit | wp.org move, 90 days |
|---|---|---|---|
| lend your tag | #9 | #7 | up 1 |
| dvd | #7 | #5 | 0 |
| borrow your tag | #14 | #4 | down 3 |

| loan your tag | Not in the top 24 | ||
| share your tag | Not in the top 24 | ||
4 searches this plugin appeared in over the last 90 days, 3 listed. 1 left out as unrelated or noise (years, numbers, stray words). 3 of its tags aren't in the top 24 for their own search.
What to do about it
- Swap “community” for “dvd”. “community” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “dvd” sits at #7 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.
- Under-ranked on “borrow”. wp.org puts you #14; on merit you place #4. The plugins above you are winning on install count, not on rating or upkeep.

Not enough installs to measure. This needs at least 100 active sites; below that, a handful of downloads reads as tens of thousands.

Estimated active installs
The public count shows “50+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.
Crossed into this band 7 days ago and a band this size takes about a year or more to cross, so the real count is still just under 60.

Good one. Free and useful for social service organizations. A little more ‘dummies guide’ would have helped:) Thanks for this!

This plugin works really well! There are a few things that need tweaking such as adding a user role for a club librarian to maintain our lending library of books, videos and equipment, and a label that needs to be localized in the “Lendings” page on the backend, but other than that I think this will work perfectly. Thanks for the plugin!

This is the only plugin that really can help you to implement a sharing system. Great for small libraries and any other kind of item you would like to share. Hope that it will keep being updated! Congrats!

It would be great if it would be possible to have several units of one item.
