   I’d been looking around and trying some trial or free versions of various plug-ins or gallery sites for my website. I’d really wanted something that used WooCommerce and the existing WordPress media framework. Then I saw a post about ShutterPress and it’s development progress. After having a look through the website and checking out the plug-in I found it was exactly what I was looking for. I’ve added a few types of galleries to my site, some free downloads, some for selling. It’s quite easy to set up and with constant development and new features being added regularly by the ShutterPress team, its been well worth getting the Pro version. The team are also super helpful with any questions and happy to help if stuck with set up or settings. Looking forward to seeing ShutterPress progress, loving it so far!

   I’ve been using this plugin for a few weeks now—starting with the free version before upgrading to Pro—and overall, it’s been a very positive experience. The functionality is strong, and it clearly has lots of potential for future improvements. My only suggestions would be to provide clearer support documentation to help new users get the most out of it. One feature I’m really looking forward to seeing is the ability to add Image Name/Place overlays that users can read over gallery images, or ideally, a searchable gallery. I plan to upload a lot of wildlife images, and being able to search rather than creating separate galleries for each species would be a game-changer. Despite these minor points, I’m excited for future updates and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their gallery experience.
