High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 8+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.9.31, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

What its installed base runs

Share of active installs on each version of this plugin · 100% run the current release. Green is the current release; a big slice on older versions is a user base that has stopped updating.

Estimated active installs

The public count shows “10+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.

modeled estimate
10–20 ≈17

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

It was the exact thing we wanted, though when it submits the post, not much is done other than creating the post.

When you submit a post, it doesn’t go anywhere.

No matter what settings I use, the “Name” field always goes red when submitting the post. No error message, no helpful information of any kind is provided. Also, why does it still ask for email when I specifically set to not require email? This plugin doesn’t seem to work in any of the ways it should.

I definitely like the idea. If we could convert new emails into users, that would be great!

The link in the description no longer works: http://www.freelanceresources.net/forums/forum/plugins-and-softwares/sidebar-post/ There’s actually a spelling error in it: “Yout Post Title”. I tried it and it didn’t work; the posts never showed up. So I reached out to the author, but his email address is invalid: [email protected]

We have a few contributors who are not interested in going into the full back of WP. This nifty thing solves the problem. I suggest you guys add tag support and the ability to register right there!! Good stuff

I like the idea behind this, but could you please make it possible to add the form in a page or post using shortcodes?!! I think that’d be awesome
