Site Reviews is the best free reviews plugin. It integrates with WooCommerce & SureCart and works just like reviews on Amazon, Tripadvisor, and Yelp.
Try it live opens a temporary test site in your browser, which can take about 20 seconds to load. Plugins that rely on outside services or a full server may not work completely there.

Biggest opportunity: Swap “testimonials” and “ratings” for “reviews plugin” and “tripadvisor”. “testimonials” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #23. “reviews plugin” sits at #4 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “ratings” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #17. “tripadvisor” sits at #6 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.
Install conversion
How it's measured →1.7%
of downloads still active
At least 60K of 3.6M lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,783 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 27 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

I have tried many, many a customer review plugin for WP and this one hit the mark the best. The support/development is very attentive with quick response times; very helpful as well. The customization factor (which was important to me) is excellent and it’s an overall stable product. Very happy with our subscription and use of it.

I’m trying out things with custom code to make some things work the way I want before they become addons/features in the future (as I was told) but I really appreciate the support I’m getting for the workarounds. The plug in is pretty nice in general, I like that I don’t have to add the widgets on each page in my case where I only want to have them linked to the pages but use them in a master review form with all the options for users to review.
