Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.
Release cadence

What its installed base runs
via wordpress.orgShare of active installs on each version of this plugin · 80% run the current release. Green is the current release; a big slice on older versions is a user base that has stopped updating.
Estimated active installs
The public count shows “4K+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.

Estimated value
What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.
Est. annual revenue
Est. acquisition value
A small install base leaves thin data to model from. A declining trend compresses what a buyer would pay. The range spans more than 10x because wp.org publishes install counts as broad bands, and conversion and price compound on top. Read the midpoint as an order of magnitude, not a valuation.
How we estimate this
Assumptions
- Free → paid conversion. 0.5%–2% of active installs pay for the pro tier. Typical for freemium WordPress plugins; the real rate varies a lot by product.
- Annual price per customer. $39–$99 a year, typical for Media plugins rather than this plugin's own pricing.
- Acquisition multiple. 1.5x–2.5x annual revenue, the going range for small WordPress-plugin businesses, compressed because the install trend is declining.
- Install base. 4K–5K active installs, from our install estimate (wp.org only publishes the floor).

Revenue is installs × conversion × price; value is revenue × a typical acquisition multiple. Every factor is an assumption band, so the output is a wide range on purpose. If you're buying or selling, treat this as a starting point for due diligence.

Gets the job done! Very easy to build slideshows using images from the media gallery, galleries, posts, and pages (even custom types and dynamic content). All this for free!Slider Pro is now part of my “default WordPress plugins” package when building new sites. 🤓 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is a very good open source plugin that often puts the pro sliders to shame

It has everything, simple and easy to use settings. Perfect. Thank you for offering a pro level plugin for free.

It’s the only slider plugin taking performance seriously. I tested them all, including Foogallery and Metaslide. In particular, lazy loading method works great. I just purchased an add-on to support the development.

The plugin is great. There are many setting options, styles and the support is top. I can recommend it to anyone.

I can say that this is definitely the best slider. Super easy to use and completely free. I honestly tried almost every slider I could find and this is definitely the best option. Not to mention that most, even in their paid version, don’t look as good as this plugin that is completely free. Thanks also to the creator of the plugin who helped me to put nofollow for the external links. I hope more people use it and donate money to the creator of the plugin because it’s definitely worth it!

I have used Slider Pro for over 10 years (it used to be a paid plugin). It does what is needed, is extremely well coded and David provides legendary support. Give it a whirl!

I’ve been using this for a couple of years now and love it to bits. I found it easy to set up, although I did need a bit of help with some extra code (which was cheerfully provided within 24 hours). Sliders have been getting some bad press recently, but for a personal website/blog, this adds something extra on the home page. I couldn’t imagine using anything else.
