High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 13+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 3.5.2, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated active installs

The public count shows “60+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Does what it says on the tin! Nothing more, nothing less. That’s my kinda plugin! Not bloated, overcomplicated and buggy. Thanks, saved me a few days of not having to do this myself for a customer.

Edit: This plugin no longer works with the Soliloquy 2.0 update. No begin/end date fields appear on a slide’s meta page. Loved this plugin prior to update. Here’s hoping it’s updated. Original Post: Simple, but does what it is supposed to. Plugin would be five stars if it allowed you to set a time in addition to the date.

The only other thing I could ask for would be setting a time as well. That way I can have the slider show at 8:00am at the same time my post goes live. Currently I’m just setting my posts to 12:00am for seamless awesomeness. Thanks!

Not happy with this plugin. Worked fine for a couple of weeks then wouldn’t allow me to add nes slides or edit existing ones. Found out the it is in chrome that it doesn’t work. Works fine in IE and firefox. The author is non responsive. Went to plugin website for resulotion but in order to ask a question you must open a ticket. But to start a ticket you must pay $9.00. I already paid for the plugin.
