Removal-risk signals

53/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 4+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Falling behind WordPress. Tested up to WordPress 6.0.14.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Used to work great but with EM Pro’s updates in 2023 it stopped working. No response from the maker to update it. Pity, it was previously perfect. This topic was modified 2 years, 9 months ago by joshza.

This plugin is really the way to go if you want to use maps with Events Manager. So much better than Google Maps and really easy to set up. The plugin author responded really fast to the few questions I had and gave me some good solutions. This topic was modified 5 years, 4 months ago by Benoit Gütz. This should be part of Events Manager. Another tool to substitute Google. Hope that more people use this.

I avoid Google’s tracking services whenever possible, and I don’t want visitors to any of my sites to automatically be tracked and surveilled. This plugin does exactly what I needed it to do — override Google Maps and make OSM the default. Thank you so much for this awesome plugin!
