High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 9+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.7.35, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

low confidence

Est. annual revenue

≈$81 range $24–$280

Est. acquisition value

≈$270 range $60–$1.3K

A small install base leaves thin data to model from. The range spans more than 10x because wp.org publishes install counts as broad bands, and conversion and price compound on top. Read the midpoint as an order of magnitude, not a valuation.

How we estimate this

Assumptions

  • Free → paid conversion. 0.5%–2% of active installs pay for the pro tier. Typical for freemium WordPress plugins; the real rate varies a lot by product.
  • Annual price per customer. $79–$199 a year, typical for Booking & Events plugins rather than this plugin's own pricing.
  • Acquisition multiple. 2.5x–4.5x annual revenue, the going range for small WordPress-plugin businesses, stretched a little because downloads are growing.
  • Install base. 60–70 active installs, from our install estimate (wp.org only publishes the floor).

Revenue is installs × conversion × price; value is revenue × a typical acquisition multiple. Every factor is an assumption band, so the output is a wide range on purpose. If you're buying or selling, treat this as a starting point for due diligence.

This is a simple and easy way to add a Stripe gateway to EMP. It works perfectly for me, and when I had a query about setting it up in a customised way the author responded in minutes with some custom code and a suggested way forward. Very nice plugin.

Im using evetsmanager and i have an issue where sometimes peoples credit card doesnt get registrated when they buy a ticket. I have contacted the company both via their contact form on the website, on the forum and via direct mail. Finally they answered on direct mail but they just said they where to busy to help me. Now i dont know what to do and my site is faulty – i have 130 members on my site and at least 5-6 experience this error every single time i make an event, and they are getting really tired of it. The point is, when this plugin works it is a very nice plugin, but when it dont you should expect any support, you will have to fix it yourself. The plugin works flawlessly. Just make sure to set up Stripe correctly; although that is not too complicated you must to be careful (just as you need to be with PayPal!) and then you’ll be receiving all payments through Stripe. I’v had no problems whatsoever! Thank you developer, I really hope you’ll keep the plugin up-to-date with future WordPress and Events Manager releases. Our non-profit is very grateful! Unfortunately the Stripe advantage of PCI Compliance is negated by the fact that this bypasses the Stripe / iFrame model and serves card details via the host site web server

Works flawlessly. Better than another plugin I bought. A nice future feature would be language support, so I would be able to translate the plugin.

Thanks for the great plugin – works great and very easy to install! Request for future updates would be to allow users to save their info with Stripe, as well as capture additional fields, like billing address.

While the plugin does process stripe payments, i’ve a concern as a user that credit card details are being processed on sellers webserver. The whole point of stripe payment flow is that the user and stripe generate a payment token, which the seller then redeems. This ensure the user that the seller does not have access to their credit card details. Until this plugin is updated to generate a stripe token on the client side i won’t install it. https://stripe.com/docs/stripe.js/switching
