Biggest opportunity: Add “switch user”, “exclusive” and “dispatch” to your wp.org tags. You rank #6, #14 and #24 for them without listing them, close enough for a declared tag to move you up. WordPress.org counts only your first five tags, so with 3 listed these are the slots worth spending.

How it's measured →4.2%
of downloads still active
At least 1K of 23.9K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median eCommerce plugin keeps 1.4%, across 5,162 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other eCommerce plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 19 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- Add “switch user”, “exclusive” and “dispatch” to your wp.org tags. You rank #6, #14 and #24 for them without listing them, close enough for a declared tag to move you up. WordPress.org counts only your first five tags, so with 3 listed these are the slots worth spending.
- Slipping on “vat”. Down 5 places since 2026-09-18, now #23. Check what shipped around then, and what moved above you.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated active installs
The public count shows “1K+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.
Crossed into this band 15 days ago and a band this size takes about a year or more to cross, so the real count is still just over 1K.

I read that the support was fast, but I honestly didn’t expect a reply the same evening. My issue was understood right away and the snippet to solve it, was included in the first reply. Thanks a lot for great support!

Installed the plugin today, had a question and got a response within less than half! an hour. Crazy fast and friendly too. Plugin works perfect. One tip if your customers are in different countries. Set in Woocommerce under General the customer location base to ‘Geolocate (with page caching)’. In that way the including VAT is correctly calculated and shown. That took me an hour to figure out.

A plugin that just works and does what it’s supposed to do. But what stands out most is the support for this plugin! Knowledgeable, fast, and willing to dig deep.

If you’re in need of a tax switching plugin, you found the right one here. Lightweight, smart, quick and integrates deep. But what’s more: you won’t find many plugins, paid or free, with this kind of support. In the rare case that some application/plugin is not playing nicely along, Paul will make sure it does, and lightning fast on top of that. Just perfect.
