What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

I believe this plugin to be broken with WordPress 4.5.3 and Thesis 1.8.6. Support post has gone unanswered for a week leading me to believe this plugin has been abandoned. Use at your own risk. I’ll retract my assertion this is broken and abandoned if proven otherwise.

This works very well with a legacy site I run with thesis 1.6. Great to be able to attach code to thesis hooks without editing theme files.

Quick access to all hooks present in Headway and Infinite customization in infinite combinations. This is not quite correct. You cannot target individual blocks by ID, so the hooks are useful for global customizations but this is rather limiting. Fortunately you can use your own PHP, but then you can also just as well use a Headway Custom Code block, or a child theme without the need for another plugin.. Unfortunately my requests for more information have not been answered, and now I am worried that the plugin is not being kept updated. It works in 3.6, but for how long? That is not to say I don’t appreciate what it does, it is very handy and I like it a lot, but is missing some important functionality.

After using Thesis for nearly a year, I am now getting a full appreciation for what a great tool it is and how valuable this plugin is.

I’ve used OpenHook for a while. It certainly does the job and I’ve got no complaint with that. My only warning to new users is to make sure you read the documentation each time before you update this plugin. There are commonly instructions that you need to follow for everything to continue working. Because of that I’ve actually started using this plugin less and trying to phase out my dependency on it.
