Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from. The recent download trend is too spiky to read.

Having previously used “The Events Calendar” I was looking for a more lightweight events plugin that would be easier to use but still flexible enough in terms of customising the display of events. This does everything I needed!

This plugin is great, it was exactly what I wanted for my project! My only wish would be to have a ‘duplicate’ function so when I create multiple events of the same nature but for different dates, I can reduce how much time I spend doing them.

I had tried a few other event calendar plugins. Crazy complicated. Took forever to add an event. And forget about explaining it to a client. If they could figure out these plugins they were probably building their own website too. My client just wanted to say, Business networking mixer Thursday evening at this pub,” or something equally simple. I needed a plugin for a basic event listing that I could setup easily and then build a small cheat sheet for my client to carry on from. This plugin solved the problem. Thank you.

I needed something to list events for a radio station. That’s it. No fancy calendar or bookings. It needed to be simple enough that I could install it, set it up, do the initial data entry, give them some screenshots with basic instructions, and let them do the rest. They’re happy, I’m happy, everybody wins.

Like many users, I’ve tried a number of event type plugins and found most of them bloated, clunky and unintuitive. This one takes a simple approach by setting up events as a new post type. Shortcodes work well and support a number of different attributes for flexibility. Easy to style and is integrated with site builders and the customizer out-of-the-box. I’ll be adding this to my list of go-to plugins from now on. Excellent work!
