Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. The recent download trend is too spiky to read.

I think the plugin is not confusing enough, maybe the author could try hiding the SAVE button a bit better so I cannot find it at all. Maybe add more grayed out setting so i can click them without them doing anything. How about making the bulk actions a bit more useless? So I select all plugins, run each one, and none of them update any of the settings.

I’ve tested it on a couple sites and it seems to be working well – loving the control it gives you over each plugin. Seems to work better than any other similar plugin I’ve tried. I’m now installing it on the rest of my sites and if all goes well will most likely be buying the pro version. UPDATE: I just tried to find the Pro version, but it appears you can only get it by purchasing the complete Clearfy Pro/Business plugin. I don’t really need or want the other plugins included in Clearfy – just the Updates Manager Pro plugin. Is there any way to purchase just that by itself? If not, can I purchase Clearfy Business and only install the Updates Manager on its own? This topic was modified 1 year, 5 months ago by IFX.
