High removal-risk signals
63/100Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.
- Long abandoned. No update in 10+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
- Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.4.34, well behind 6.8.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.
Release cadence

Estimated value
What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.
Est. annual revenue
Est. acquisition value
No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

This is a great added feature to Limit Login Attempts, which solves the problem of entire, trusted ip addresses getting blocked, just because someone messed up logging in. However, there’s quite a lot of self-promoting on the admin page of the plugin. This in itself is not that big a deal, but Chrome warns on the page that: “This page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources”. Chrome blocks the scripts but this is still something that should not happen. I’m not against promoting on the page, but maybe it could be done in a way that doesn’t actively poll the developer’s servers before the user initiates an action.

This plugin works. The reviewer named sem101 said it puts spam throughout your Admin settings screen, but he is wrong. I have not seen anything at all in the Admin panel that shouldn’t be there. Yes, the plugin author has his picture in the plugin’s setting page, it also has all his social media links… so what, what’s wrong with that? I’ve got this plugin in several of my sites. It’s very simple to use and it works great.

This plugin injects external feeds and spam throughout your Admin settings screen. There’s also a HUGE photo of the developer hotlinking to his site. There’s a PHP Class all the way at the bottom that injects Javascript to dynamically render a widget on the Admin screen. How this got past WP plugin audit/approval beats me. I removed all the code except for the developers Twitter button. It’s small enough to rewrite -or- just delete.

Have been testing this plugin on multiple Websites for a couple of weeks and I have not encountered any problems with it. And neither have I found myself locked out of any sites. I love the LIMIT LOGIN ATTEMPTS plugin but the lack of a dashboard white list option really annoyed me. Having this Whitelist IP plugin makes the original more useful. I have tested some other bot-blocking plugins and was not impressed with the user interface and results. So far, I’m glad to recommend the dual plugin strategy.
