    Probado en WordPress 5.2.1 funciona correctamente. Es muy simple de configurar y funcional. Es posible configurar el título, el número de entradas máximo que se quieren mostrar de la categoría y también el número máximo de caracteres para cada enlace. Fácil, sin más florituras innecesarias. Personalmente justo lo que andaba buscando. Gracias!!!
