Books Gallery – Book Showcase, Library & Affiliate Plugin

How well this listing is tuned to rank in WordPress.org search, on the factors an owner controls. Not popularity, optimization.

Directory searches this plugin turns up in, and which way each one is moving. WordPress.org publishes no history of search positions, so this starts the day we first tracked a keyword and never backfills.

wp.org is where the directory puts the plugin for that search. On merit is where it would sit if results were ranked on rating, support and updates, without the install boost. The last column is how far the wp.org position moved, from our first reading in the last 90 days to the latest.

147 searches this plugin appeared in over the last 90 days, 20 listed. 119 left out as unrelated or noise (years, numbers, stray words).

Directory rank vs rivals

wp.org popularity rank over time · higher is better · when a rival's line climbs above yours, they've overtaken you

How often this plugin actually ships. A steady rhythm is the maintenance signal a single "last updated" date can't show.

Share of active installs on each version of this plugin · 60% run the current release. Green is the current release; a big slice on older versions is a user base that has stopped updating.

Crossed into this band 12 months ago; the previous band took 13 months to cross, which places it about 50% of the way through.

I searched everywhere and viewed all the plug ins for my wp site. I decided on HM books and I am so glad I did. If you are like me, you appreciate good customer service and you stay with the company that provides the best. This developer goes above and beyond to help you. He has a chat available and seems to be always on! Not sure when he sleeps! This app has so many things you can do, I can not wait to try them all. I really like that I can sell anywhere and I can have a buy button for anywhere pretty much! Some folks want to buy on amazon, sometimes they go to your author page to buy and sometimes maybe they want apple. Everything is here in this app. Of all my apps, this one rates at the top for customer service and how it performs with all the bells and whistles!

Thank you for creating WP Books Gallery. It is one of the cleanest and most visually appealing book showcase plugins I have seen for WordPress. I am using the free version on my site, and the grid, slider, filter, and author-related features look perfect for what I want to build

I have used and purchased several WP book plugins. The HM Book Gallery plug-in is ok but it has several limitations than cannot be addressed without pro version. But if even purchase pro it removes features if not renewed instead of just restricting updates. Also the documentation particularly shortcodes is incomplete. After using for several years I am looking for a more complete alternative. This topic was modified 6 months ago by Earl_D. This topic was modified 6 months ago by Earl_D.
