   Had to update my first review, because things aren’t as good as they were. I think it was as far back and 2018 we moved away from a Pitchero website to our own hosted one, and decided on WP Club Manager. And for 5/6 years it was great, did exactly as it was supposed to, had some really good features, and support was top notch. Unfortunately it started to go downhill, once it was sold to another company there were issues. Things didn’t display correctly, such as player galleries, new players weren’t appearing in the gallery. It once crashed my site after an update, fortunately I had a backup. I contacted support a number of times, and was told, yeah we’re working on it, went on for about 6 months without resolution to any of my issues. So we bite the bullet and started to search for an alternative, knowing whatever we moved to would involve a lot of work migrating all our fixtures data, but anything was better than sitting doing an update not knowing if the site would break. We now have a site that is stable, doing what its supposed to, and the support is second to none. Shame, because I really liked WP Club Manager.

   Been using this plugin for about three years now and I have to say it’s been superb. I run it as a single club website for a football team with U18s, Under 23s as well as first team and it’s brilliant for showing fixtures, results, latest news, keeping league tables updated, and loads more that I just couldn’t so any other way. There’s really nothing else can touch it, especially when run with there own themes. It’s also worth pointing out that I’ve had superb technical support every time I’ve needed it, quick response and a solution given – even at times going above and beyond what tech support usually offers. I can’t recommend it highly enough, I’ve never regretted going with it and I wouldn’t be without it now.

   THANKS! your plugin in LOVELY, but i would like to request an addition, i created a full league on my site, a functioning fake league because i like to fully test plugins before usage, but i was wondering if i could have users log in and predict results, or create a draft team and join leagues and compete with others based on the performance of my preset league created on sport press? like the English premier league and fantasy premier league, like fanvictor, but without the API stress This topic was modified 5 years ago by lexis578.

   Considering it is free, it does a hell of a lot. You are restricted to a few number of themes, but that is fine (we used 2017). The league table is cool, and club pages are good. Each player / club / team can have their own page. A few places it fails. The import does not have an update mode. So, essentially you are forced to get the import right or delete what you import, and try again. The player import is a mess, you cannot associate to a team or club, and any settings you have changed since the last import you need to choose to delete or live with two copies. There is no ability for players to edit their own profiles, and there is no played security for say captains or club managers to add or edit the players. The security option is all or nothing. The player management side there is no sorting supported, and so it makes it hard to manange, there is also no bulk action support for setting thing like nationality and position. As much as it is a great little plugin, it may be easier to just manage the club via excel and copy and paste results in posts / pages instead. We are going to stick with it and see.    I have used several plugins and never came across any plugin which is this customizable and the support is this amazing! I have created a whole new project with the help of this plugin (ALL FREE) and the support on top where I got stuck was unbelievable! Leon the author of this plugin basically responded within 2 hours to any of my support query without referring me to paid site or support link. I cannot thank Leon enough for the support plus this plugin has made impossible possible for me. I used my own theme and it adapted it so well that I cannot thank enough! My client is super impressed with the features it has! If i could give this plugin 10* star then I would have.

   – meets all our ice hockey needs (player stats – even within player details and history, league seasons and tables, all that even as widgets, team infos, … ) – good documentation and help – great support by now I’ve tried typical free alternatives and not one could fulfill at least two of the points above.
