High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 11+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.1.42, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

I’m using this plugin (version 1.0.1) for almost 4 years without any problems. Now with WP 4.9.x still flawless.

Simple to install, works like a charm. LOVE this plugin. Anyone operating a private site (like a BuddyPress site for in-house use) should definitely use this one.

This plugin is excellent – Just what was needed. Extremely simple. Just a word for newbies – After installation, site visitors will only be able to access the site after you create an account for them. I am using wooCommerce which has a user type “customer”, so is ideal. Thanks richard4339 for your work in creating this.

I love one trick pony plugins like this. No complicated settings. Just upload, enable and any user account even subscribers have to login to see any content. Great for sharing family or a small group or club information. I am off to make a donation now, this plug-in is too cool not to do so. This is a great simple plug-in.

Very lightweight and powerful plugin. I was looking for a code to implement in functions.php This plugin does the whole work.
