Removal-risk signals

53/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 4+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Falling behind WordPress. Tested up to WordPress 6.0.14.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Excellent plugin, simple and to the point. Confirmed it works perfectly via the “Edit more details” link when viewing an image in the media gallery.

Simple but most effective. Removes the exif and meta data from images in the native image folder. 1 issue I came across that -scaled images block the plugin from functioning so with batch removal make sure you uncheck the scaled images.. Thank you for creating this! This topic was modified 3 years, 10 months ago by ernst A.

Hi, Great work you’ve done with this plugin. Perfect timing considering the privacy concerns of our world today. I’d like to kindly ask you to add the ability to remove “description” of uploaded images in real time too. Some plugins automatically add unnecessary data … The media related ones anyway and this is why it’s a goldmine. The only case where metadata is stored is if we go back to edit the image manually. Looking forward to your response/update. Thanks for an awesome work and hopefully, we can see more tools that continue to take privacy seriously
