   I have used this plugin for years on several different websites, largely without problems. I love the way you can short-circuit YouTube’s usual behavior at the end of a video and just end the video there without displaying other YouTube videos. However, once in a while I have embedded a YouTube video that will not load on the front end. The solution was to turn off Facade Mode under the Performance tab in the plugin’s settings. What motivated me to leave this review today was I just wasted almost an hour troubleshooting (with Claude.ai’s very helpful help) and when we narrowed it down to a problem with the embedding plugin itself, I looked at the settings. Sure enough, Facade Mode had gotten turned on again, presumably with a recent update. SOME videos will not load when they need to with this setting turned on. Thought I’d fixed that problem months ago… NOT helpful! But the fix was simple – once I knew what the problem was.

   I use it for years, both the free and the paid version, depending on project. It works good. The only missing feature (that some other video plugin have) is that it can *not* overide all Youtube links already in your site. So if you have 100s of posts/pages … go look elsewhere, this one will not replace all in one click (and if you update any setting, it will not be applied to all neither).This one is with their shortcode only. So fits great small projects only in my opinion.

   I’ve tried a bunch of YouTube embed plugins. For one, this plugin doesn’t cause the Error 153 issue on my videos and it works for single videos and channels/playlists so I was able to go from two plugins to one. It does both very well and has a ton of options. Love it!

   I haven’t checked site using this plugin in some time, when i logged in a noticed notifications which appeared to be warnings of a needed update and to get the update I should install Pro version. Is that TRUE or a marketing plow.I also see support has not been responding lately to customer requests, a customer is a customer, whether free or Pro. For a plugin with 100,000+ install this is Not Acceptable support effort, this does not bode well for this project and may mean there is an opportunity here for competition
