The Icons Add-on is a tiny but essential enhancement for the Admin Columns plugin. You can choose to link to any existing icon, e.g. one that comes with the plugin whose Admin column you wish to “iconize”, or else you can upload your own. The only thing I think is missing and would be nice to have is to be able to hover over the icon and have it show you the column’s actual title. Imagine some user trying to tell you something that has to do with an iconized column he doesn’t know the name of … This is yet another one of those plugins which are so useful but are installed by just a tiny number of people instead of the thousands one might expect.
