High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 14+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 3.3.2, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from. The recent download trend is too spiky to read.

Hello, I would like to report the lack of an option to set the y-position of the background image. Currently, there’s an option called “Position” in where we can set the background position to be left aligned, centered or right; but this ONLY applies for the x-position. What about the y-position? I mean, in CSS code would be something like: background-position: right top. Where can we select TOP, CENTER or BOTTOM to position the background concerning the Y axis? I think the developer just ignored that option. Is this too difficult to achieve? Can I do it myself? Or maybe will it be added in next release? Thanks in advance!

It would be brilliant if I could use an image that is already in a wp folder as the background image for a particular post. I sort of don’t want to upload 10 copies of the same image, just because that image works for 10 different posts. Thanks! 😀 Other than that, plugin works well, image actually shows up, and if it doesn’t show up, then just edit the post and choose a different starting point (right in my case). I did try another plugin, but didn’t get that one working. Thankful for this one.

The plugin does what it says. It would be nice if you could also assign a background according to Category. But, it does what I need for now.

I’m new in wordpress and still studying some basic part of it. My concern is that I can’t see the actual “Background Per Page window”. I went to Appearance > Background, what was there was Custom Background which is the default page, nothing similar with screenshots you have. Please I need your help.

Works great a settings are easy to use. Thought was broken at 1st but used a JPG instead of PNG and works great.

As I said, this plugin works, but the background will be in a different position on every browser, which makes this plugin unusable if you require a precisely placed background.
