How it's measured →0.7%
of downloads still active
At least 300 of 40.2K lifetime downloads are still running, in line with its category: the median Search plugin keeps 0.7%, across 645 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Search plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.

wp.org is where the directory puts the plugin for that search. On merit is where it would sit if results were ranked on rating, support and updates, without the install boost. The last column is how far the wp.org position moved, from our first reading in the last 90 days to the latest.

What to do about it
- One page off on “buddypress activity”. #12 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.
- One page off on “hide activity”. #13 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.
- “buddypress” and “filter” aren't earning a slot. You list them, but you're not in the first 24 results for those searches. WordPress.org counts only your first five tags, so free the slot for a search you can win.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

The plugin works perfectly as described. Note that after installing it, you’ll still see the old recorded activities on the wall, but the plugin will stop recording the checked activities hence, they’ll not show on your wall.

Hay quienes no les gusta mostrar toda la actividad al resto de usuarios. Es una buena manera y rápida de elegir que quieres que vean los usuarios. Funciona.

Thanks for trying, but I recommend you ensure plugin is functioning properly, before you try and sell other plugins (I saw all your other plugins for BP, and they “sounded” like awesome plugins), but because this plugin has failed to do its job as expected, I uninstalled, and obviously I won’t be exposed to the other plugins you have for purchasing. Make sure you have a solid product before pitching more products and services (lost of confidence is multiplied) – and I love purchasing plugins (CodeCanyon, BuddyDev, PhiloPress, etc.). PS the big issue is there were only 2 options to remove activities, yet there are many more you should have included (Friends, New Member, Profile Update, Group, Blogs, Mentions, etc.).
