Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Est. acquisition value

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

This is one of the first plugins I activate after Buddypress… absolutely necessary.

I use this plugin every time I work on my BuddyPress plugin. Saves me a TON of time adding test users and data. I particularly like the granularity of the data you can add. And the easy removal of test data. Thanks for such a great plugin!

I love this plugin because it has saved me so much time in the past by automating the members/groups/profiles creation. It’s still my 2nd plugin that is installed (after BuddyPress) for any BP-related development site. Disclaimer: I’m the plugin author. PS: I’m testing reviews as well.

For testing in localhost (development site) this plugin is awesome, adds a bunch of Users, Groups, Topics, Activity etc… everything needed for testing in a non-production site without having to manually create dozens of users and test groups etc…. I’m developing a BuddyPress/bbPress feature for a plugin I develop https://wordpress.org/plugins/display-widgets-seo-plus/ (adding widget logic for BuddyPress/bbPress) and this has saved me a lot of time setting up a test environment. Under no circumstance use on a live production site. If you use this on an important forum it’s going to make a mess, your current users will have the new Activity items etc… associated with them, they’ll have friends associated with them, only use for testing on a site you plan to delete afterwards. Also the Users added all have the same password, so any idiot who knows this plugin exists can log into your forum using those users and passwords: no more of a threat than any user on a forum, but would make it easy to add SPAM to your forum. Don’t use on a live site. David

Pressing the “Clear BuddyPress Data” Button Deleted all my users! Beware of this plugin. I would stay clear.

Do NOT install this plugin if you have any users. This plugin generates activity/content for all users on the site (not just the users created with the plugin). Even after the plugin is deleted, content with links to plugin is still being generated. For example, I created new extended profile fields and they are being populated by the plugin even after the plugin has been deleted!
