Biggest opportunity: Swap “charity”, “donation” and “nonprofit” for “islamic websites”, “webapp” and “mosque”. “charity” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “islamic websites” sits at #8 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “donation” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “webapp” sits at #9 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “nonprofit” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “mosque” sits at #10 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →0.8%
of downloads still active
At least 10 of 1.2K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,773 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 5 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- Swap “charity”, “donation” and “nonprofit” for “islamic websites”, “webapp” and “mosque”.

Directory rank
Ranked about #30,400 to #44,800, alongside the other plugins at 10+ installs. Plugins with the same install count swap places between wp.org requests, so this is where most of them sit. Checked monthly, last on 1 Nov 2026.
Update activity
Downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites.
Not enough installs to measure. This needs at least 100 active sites; below that, a handful of downloads reads as tens of thousands.

Estimated active installs
The public count shows “10+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.
Crossed into this band today and a band this size takes about a year or more to cross, so the real count is still just under 20.
At the current install trend, crossing 20+ in roughly 576 days.

I had a great experience using CharityGlow — Donations & Fundraising. It’s very easy to set up, has a clean UI, and supports Stripe, PayPal, and SSLCommerz, which makes fundraising smooth. The campaign management, donor tracking, and customization options are really helpful. Overall, a simple yet powerful plugin — highly recommended!

I’ve tried several donation plugins, but CharityGlow truly stands out — especially because it offers free recurring donations, which is rare! Most plugins charge extra for this feature, so having it included without additional cost is a huge benefit for our organization. The setup was simple on our WordPress site, and the recurring donation option works smoothly. It allows our supporters to contribute monthly without any hassle, helping us build stable, long-term funding. The forms are clean, customizable, and mobile-friendly. Everything runs perfectly, and the overall experience has been excellent. If you’re looking for a powerful donation plugin with free recurring donation functionality, CharityGlow is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended! 🙌
