Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

low confidence

Est. annual revenue

≈$3.1K range $790–$12K

Est. acquisition value

≈$6K range $1.2K–$30K

A small install base leaves thin data to model from. A declining trend compresses what a buyer would pay. The range spans more than 10x because wp.org publishes install counts as broad bands, and conversion and price compound on top. Read the midpoint as an order of magnitude, not a valuation.

How we estimate this

Assumptions

  • Free → paid conversion. 0.5%–2% of active installs pay for the pro tier. Typical for freemium WordPress plugins; the real rate varies a lot by product.
  • Annual price per customer. $79–$199 a year, typical for eCommerce plugins rather than this plugin's own pricing.
  • Acquisition multiple. 1.5x–2.5x annual revenue, the going range for small WordPress-plugin businesses, compressed because the install trend is declining.
  • Install base. 2K–3K active installs, from our install estimate (wp.org only publishes the floor).

Revenue is installs × conversion × price; value is revenue × a typical acquisition multiple. Every factor is an assumption band, so the output is a wide range on purpose. If you're buying or selling, treat this as a starting point for due diligence.

I’ve been using the paid version of this plugin on a handful of my client sites, and it’s really top-notch, a real premium experience. There have been occasions where a theme update has broken things in CheckoutWC, and every time I contact support, they have been wonderful. They’ve worked with me to diagnose and fix the issue, and when they find a bug on their end, they’ve provided a temporary fix and rolled it out in the next release. 10/10!

This plugin takes the confusing Woo default checkout and turns it into a clear, easy to follow process. Plus the support is phenomenal! In addition to being generally lovely to interact with, the CS team have helped us troubleshoot everything – even when it’s turned out the issue we were experiencing lay within a different plugin! Five stars isn’t enough stars for these folks.

I wasn’t expecting much as I was using the Lite version, but when I contacted I received quick and extremely detailed guidance, even with issues that were not related to the plugin itself. Love the plugin, but love the support from Simon even more.

So far so good. Came across a random error, the live chat feature within the plugin is amazing. Ian helped me sort an issue. Was very quick to respond. Hope to purchase pro features. Thanks
