   For over 12 months, the authors of this plugin haven’t responded to any questions on the support forum, haven’t solved any problems, and updates also happened over 12 months ago and were purely cosmetic. The situation is the same with paid add-ons, because if you buy anything from this company, it won’t work and you’ll never get an answer to any email or inquiry (we’ve been waiting for 6 months). This plugin poses a threat to users and shouldn’t be in the WP repository at all. It’s just a scam!

   I tried a few “coming soon” maintenance page plugins, but many of them just didn’t work for me. Some offer an overwhelming number of features, while others require complicated downloads or installations that are not user-friendly. This plugin, I like a lot, easy to install, setup and manage. Unfortunately, every time I go back to check – the same recurring message – that it’s not compatible. I would love to see an update, its a great plugin.

   Not GDPR Ready – Google Fonts are external loaded. You can upload your own fonts (woff2) – but thats not my job. Thats not what GDPR ready means. Implement an option to cut the connection from googleapis. Thats state of the art in 2026.

   I’m really impressed with the free version of CMP. The Bypass URL is a standout feature (it lets you preview your site, when it’s behind a “Coming Soon” or maintenance page.) It’s such a helpful tool! The setup was simple, and everything runs smoothly. It’s awesome to see such a solid plugin available at no cost. A “Buy a Coffee” button would be a great addition for those of us who don’t need the Pro version, I’d gladly pitch in for such a well-built tool!
