Est. acquisition value

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

I am giving this plugin one star as a serious warning to other users. While the plugin may work when active, the uninstallation and account deletion process is critically flawed. It has left my website permanently damaged with a persistent script that has been impossible to remove for over a month. Here is my experience: I installed this plugin for a trial and decided not to use the service. I uninstalled the plugin and deleted my CMP from the dashboard. Immediately after, a red warning icon from consentmanager.net appeared on every page of my site. For over a month, with expert help, I have tried everything technically possible to remove it: Manually deleting every related entry from my database’s wp_options table via phpMyAdmin. Manually deleting the entire /wp-content/cache/ directory from the server’s file manager. Purging all Cloudflare caches and enabling Development Mode to completely bypass the CDN. Resetting the .htaccess file to the WordPress default. Temporarily deactivating all security and firewall plugins (like Wordfence) and Cloudflare firewall rules. None of these actions worked. The script and the warning icon persist, proving that the injection is coming externally from ConsentManager’s servers, not from my website’s files or database. The support process has been equally frustrating. After long delays between replies, the support team ignored my detailed technical evidence (including screenshots and a summary of all actions taken) and repeatedly asked me to perform actions inside my “deleted” account that were impossible to do. The root cause seems to be a “ghost” configuration that remains on ConsentManager’s backend servers after you try to leave their service. Their system continues to inject the script into your domain, but gives you no control to stop it. Please, be extremely cautious before installing this plugin. If you decide to try it, be aware that removing it may not be possible and you could be stuck with it permanently. The offboarding and data removal process is broken and can cause long-term damage to your site’s professional appearance.

This topic was modified 1 year, 5 months ago by lederwerkstatt.

First of all, the plugin works. BUT… Coding standards? Not existing. Security? Who cares, we just save directly from $_POST without any sanitization. Writing a 5* review for your own plugin? Yeah, absolutely what everyone should do… at least they don’t hide it.
