High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 7+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 5.1.24, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

What its installed base runs

Share of active installs on each version of this plugin · 94% run the current release. Green is the current release; a big slice on older versions is a user base that has stopped updating.

Estimated active installs

The public count shows “800+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.

modeled estimate

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Very easy to setup and documentation is pretty good. Simple to make a countdown and simple to style via css.

I can use it in a widget (per code or the provided one) or in a post. It is very easy to set up events and there are various display options. If you want to change the style just amend the CSS – easy.

I have not personally used the plugin in, but my customer was using it. Upon our forced upgrade to php 5.4 I reported the issue to the developer, he promptly responded and updated the theme. I cannot speak for the plugin it self, but the developer promptly updated the plugin to be compatible with PHP 5.4. And for that he is 5 star.

Works well – does exactly what I required which was a list of events with countdowns to each one – with a link to each of the event pages. Seems stable and has not broken anything.
