Biggest opportunity: Swap “plugins” for “downloads”. “plugins” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “downloads” sits at #4 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →5.2%
of downloads still active
At least 60K of 1.2M lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,778 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 7 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

So far, I have used this plugin to download a bulk of plugins and it did it flawlessly. Tested also the bulk uploader and it is working as intended. Perfect for my user case as I have to create multiple instances of WordPress and have different sets of plugins to run. A great tool that does its job.

This plugin is very helpful to download favourite plugins you use on one site to easily implement them on another site. I also made it a habit to download a plugin before updating it, so I can do an easy rollback in case of problems. Having said that, it would be awesome if the downloaded filename would include a version number instead of just the plugin name. That way, you can keep an archive of various versions after updates. The version number for every plugin is displayed in the plugins admin screen, so it should be possible to include this in the filename, right?
