Biggest opportunity: Swap “button”, “buttons” and “digital downloads” for “swf”, “avis” and “e downloads”. “button” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “swf” sits at #5 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “buttons” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “avis” sits at #6 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “digital downloads” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #17. “e downloads” sits at #7 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →1.9%
of downloads still active
At least 8K of 417.8K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,773 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 1 release in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- Swap “button”, “buttons” and “digital downloads” for “swf”, “avis” and “e downloads”.
- One page off on “downloads”. #14 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

The plugin provides an option to define a class to it but my own css styling gets overwritten by the styling the plugin came with. As I maintain highly stylised websites, this plugin is, alas, a no-go. I hope it gets fixed.

Though it wasn’t completely intuitive, I got this to work without any help, without it even taking very long, and that is really saying something. The cute little demo film provided by the developer clinched my success. if you are not exactly sure how to make this plugin work right away, just exercise a little patience as you watch the demo several times. I am very grateful to the developers–thank you!

I was battling with html code (and I’m not a coder), so this little addin worked wonders for me, really simple to use with an embedded code (and the donate option was an added boon) Just one issue (its an internet browser issue) Not all internet browsers download the file when clicked… This is not a major problem, just add a note to say, if the download opens in another window, tell the user to right click and select “Save As”

I’m not a coder. As a ‘regular’ person, when you say plugin, I expect something along the lines of ‘plug and play’, meaning give me clickable options. Do not tell me to add this or that code, make such and such changes – to me, it makes no sense! I’ve now spent an hour on this, trying to find where the plugin went after activation; meaning I spent an hour looking for something that isn’t there. Nothing ‘easy’ about this one. Bah.
