Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

I was looking for something to keep text such as “X years of experience” on my site up to date. I thought it was a niche use case as I hadn’t found a solution until now (I was halfway through cobbling together a code snippet myself to do that when I came across this plugin, and it does a much better job 😅) It’s really thoughtfully put together, there are little touches like the ordinal support on the age shortcode (so you get “35th” instead of just “35”) and the option to have a years, months, and days format which show that the dev actually thought about how people use this in real life and not just the bare minimum to tick a box. He’s also super responsive; something I reported in the support forum was fixed in ~3 hours. Check all the other reviews here and you’ll see it’s not an accident. I really hope this stays as it is because I’ve been burned by good free plugins being sold and pulling a bait-and-switch/becoming bloated lol. Easy 5 stars from me, deserved.

Great plugin but I did notice two issues. 1) The WebPage name in Yoast Schema doesn’t get processed correctly. You can fix that with this: add_filter('wpseo_schema_webpage', function($data) { $data['name'] = do_shortcode($data['name']); return $data; }); 2) If you use the Grow Social by Mediavine plugin then the meta tags will not be processed correctly either (will just show [year] etc). An easy fix is to check the option “Disable Open Graph Meta Tags” in Grow Social’s settings. Since I’m using Yoast I don’t think it was really doing anything anyways.
