Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

When the plugin is enabled, it’s impossible to save any Events Manager Settings anymore. With some trickery it’s possible to translate events themselves (you have to deactivate the plugin first though, and in the meantime all translations will appear everywhere). Overall, it’s a nightmare. If I hadn’t paid for EM Pro I’d have given up ages ago. Do NOT buy Events Manager Pro if you want to translate your website using WPML. It simply doesn’t work.

I used to run this Plugin for a few years to translate Events, and the chance to translate emails from the Settings page was excellent. However, this is no longer possible. I noticed after a series of updates of WPML, Events Manager and PHP Upgrade (to 7.2) that this plugin is responsible for this error> Deprecated: Function create_function() is deprecated in /homepages/1/d570148024/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/events-manager-wpml/events-manager-wpml.php I now need to keep it deactivated if I want this error to disappear. So sad…this was otherwise a great Plugin. This topic was modified 6 years, 8 months ago by fotomarathon. Reason: correcting tags

If you have WPML and use Events Manager, this is a must. Works perfect. There are some (very few) parts that are not translatable yet, but 95% of the strings are translatable.

This used to work well until about November 2015. Then something was done to the code that meant second language venues no longer display correctly, and you are forced to have all addresses in a single language. I am working welsh/english, and welsh and english addresses ARE different. Prior to the update that caused the failure, it worked well. Unfortunately, despite starting again (several times) this cannot be rectified and the support is VERY unresponsive, pretty much refusing to acknowledge that (a) it used to work even though I could show them a working site pre-upgrade (b) that addresses should be different in different languages and (c) that the various plugins are no longer sensitive to the second language (showing either ALL or NONE) even though I have bent over backwards to provide access to test sites where things are not good. They also will not provide any indication that the bugs they do acknowledge are on a fix list or give any estimated time to fix. Tried getting WPML involved in this but they gave up fairly quickly. I am currently looking to move away from this product so that I can avoid paying again for what’s far-from-premium support. It is not good enough to ignore customers. All my event lists showed everything twice (in both languages). After installing this plugin, they display as they should. THANK YOU!!!

I know EM is a complex plugin (so is WPML), but important features are still missing to get a 5 star review 😉 Still missing: Forms editor translations Tickets details translations
