Biggest opportunity: Swap “cache”, “optimization” and “pagespeed” for “opcache”, “crawling” and “lighthouse”. “cache” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “opcache” sits at #17 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “optimization” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “crawling” sits at #21 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “pagespeed” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “lighthouse” sits at #21 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →0.8%
of downloads still active
At least 400 of 48.9K lifetime downloads are still running, below its category: the median Performance plugin keeps 1.4%, across 1,104 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Performance plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 1 release in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

Update activity
How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.
Release cadence
Occasionally updatedHow often this plugin actually ships. A steady rhythm is the maintenance signal a single "last updated" date can't show.

via wordpress.orgShare of active installs on each version of this plugin · 46% run the current release. Green is the current release; a big slice on older versions is a user base that has stopped updating.
Estimated active installs
The public count shows “400+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.
Crossed into this band 47 days ago and a band this size takes about a year or more to cross, so the real count is still just under 500.

I don’t understand why this is not more popular, it gives you valuable insights in the system and where the chokepoints are. Great job!

Installed the plugin, nothing happens. No link in the admin bar, nothing in the admin menu, no new settings. Wasted my time.

Plugin is working and I see some stats. However I have a certain plugin that’s delaying all the pages with more than 10 seconds and there is no mention of it in the stats, everything looks fine there, but it’s not.

Great details. The only thing causing me to rate it as 4 stars and not 5 stars is missing a way to save the results to file. Add this and I’ll change it to 5. Promise!

Excellent! After P3 doesn’t work with PHP7+ anymore, F12 seems finally the one stepping in to fill that gap. Update [18-Jun-19]. After some small contributions of mine to the dev efforts, the plugin developer has decided to add me to the team, long after this review was written. This topic was modified 7 years, 1 month ago by alx359. Reason: Became part of the team
