Biggest opportunity: Swap “game” and “sports” for “predictions” and “calc”. “game” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #20. “predictions” sits at #5 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “sports” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #16. “calc” sits at #10 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

of downloads still active
At least 900 of 103K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,773 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 5 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- Swap “game” and “sports” for “predictions” and “calc”.
- Slipping on “sports”. Down 6 places since 2026-09-23, now #16. Check what shipped around then, and what moved above you.

The public count shows “900+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.
Crossed into this band 12 days ago and a band this size takes about a year or more to cross, so the real count is still just under 1K.

Used the plugin for all WK and EK tournements since 2018 and also for pool for local clubs. There was always a very quick and good response on my questions. The change to have the option to use UTC time or local time was created quikly and it is working fine! That’s why I spend some time to translate the plugin to Dutch

“This plugin sounds like an incredible addition for any sports fan running a blog! The ability to create a fantasy sports pool where visitors can predict outcomes and track their progress adds a fun, interactive element to your site. It reminds me of how a pool builder customizes each project to fit the client’s needs—this plugin does the same by allowing users to tailor it for different sports and championships. Kudos to the developer for continually updating and enhancing the plugin over the years. The attention to detail, from custom rankings to user charts, really shows the passion behind this project. If anyone’s using this plugin, I’d love to hear how it’s working for you!”
