Biggest opportunity: Swap “online courses”, “course builder” and “wordpress lms” for “lms”, “e learning” and “course certificate”. “online courses” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #24. “lms” sits at #14 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “course builder” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #15. “e learning” sits at #16 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “wordpress lms” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #13. “course certificate” sits at #18 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →0.5%
of downloads still active
At least 60 of 12.2K lifetime downloads are still running, below its category: the median Education plugin keeps 1.1%, across 177 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Education plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 54 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- Swap “online courses”, “course builder” and “wordpress lms” for “lms”, “e learning” and “course certificate”.
- Slipping on “online courses”. Down 8 places since 2026-09-24, now #24. Check what shipped around then, and what moved above you.
- One page off on “course builder”. #15 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.
- One page off on “wordpress lms”. #13 puts you just past the first ten results, where almost all the clicks stop. The gap to close is small.

I have tried many LMS system and paid hefty subscriptions but had to cancel them due to various issues. I came across the Fox LMS plug in and immediately liked it’s features. The customer support is excellent and far better than any other in it’s class. I had to wait 2 to 3 days to get any response from LearnDash team and eventually I cancelled the subscription after spending considerable time and resources to make the system work. The Fox LMS worked without any issue including Quiz Maker. I get almost instant response from Angelina for any issue. I suggest AYS to consider alternative platforms for their plug ins and I feel days of WordPress are numbered. It took me a week to create an account just to write this review.

FoxLMS is a modern LMS plugin to create courses easily. I like the fact to add quizzes into a section to validate the section. If the student fail, he (she) can go further. This provide to click on the next lesson without reading of watching the tutorial video. The support team is always available to help or correct issues

Anna is great. I ultimately decided not to go with the product yet, as my client is just started out and didn’t want to incur the additional cost. BUT, Anna took the time to personally review my site, giving me feedback about it’s setup, and offered ways in which Fox LMS could improve it. This feedback was given AFTER I told her that I wasn’t ready to purchase the plug-in.In 2026, I am going to pursue more clients that could benefit from a full-blow LMS. When I do, I will be sure to use Fox LMS. Thank you, Anna!

The most pleasant plug-in I’ve tried (LearPress, Lifter LMS, MasterStudy, Tutor LMS, and others). I would especially like to mention the user console. Of course, I would like to get more integration with Elementor and the ability to customize existing blocks in more detail, as well as the ability to change the URLs of courses.
