Biggest opportunity: Swap “gaming” and “html5” for “solitaire” and “flash games”. “gaming” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “solitaire” sits at #12 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “html5” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “flash games” sits at #19 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →0.2%
of downloads still active
At least 70 of 38.7K lifetime downloads are still running, below its category: the median Media plugin keeps 0.8%, across 2,318 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Media plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
High removal-risk signals
63/100Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.
- Long abandoned. No update in 10+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
- Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.3.34, well behind 6.8.

wp.org is where the directory puts the plugin for that search. On merit is where it would sit if results were ranked on rating, support and updates, without the install boost. The last column is how far the wp.org position moved, from our first reading in the last 90 days to the latest.

What to do about it
- Swap “gaming” and “html5” for “solitaire” and “flash games”.
- Under-ranked on “arcade”. wp.org puts you #24; on merit you place #10. The plugins above you are winning on install count, not on rating or upkeep.

Estimated active installs
The public count shows “70+”. Our estimate pins where the real number sits.
Crossed into this band 19 days ago and a band this size takes about a year or more to cross, so the real count is still just under 80.

Don’t waste your time with this plugin. Zero thought was put into the functionality, design and more importantly the maintenance of the games list. Author doesn’t seem to react to any questions on support forum for years. It does not do what it says and most games don’t load at all.

That’s right. I added exceptions for the game hosting site and it kept whining that I needed to disable my ad blocker. Once it sees you using an ad blocker, it simply refuses to see that its site is no longer affected by the ad blocker, and continues whining and NOT serving up any games. Removing plugin. Would have been nice to use. How do I remove that one star and set it to 0? One star implies that it’s at least somewhat functional, but it isn’t.

This plugin would not work for me and possibly needs an update. This use to work and I loved it but now it no longer works.

Your sharing is really really useful, I highly appreciate it. Any way, I know some awesome games that you have not recommended yet. Injustice 2 ( a game abt DC super heroes, with thrilling plot, diverse characters, and the combat is so so great). Last day on earth, game of survival, U are the last person on this world, and find the way to survive among millions of zombies.
