Biggest opportunity: Swap “quote” and “signature” for “unread” and “spoiler”. “quote” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “unread” sits at #9 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “signature” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “spoiler” sits at #11 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →0.6%
of downloads still active
At least 1K of 155.1K lifetime downloads are still running, in line with its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,766 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 2 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

I am revising my review to 5/5 stars after the developer updated the plugin to address security issues. This is an excellent plugin that I consider a must-have for every site that runs bbPress. Kudos to the developer for addressing the security issue and for making this free. This topic was modified 3 months, 2 weeks ago by pavlovscat. They changed their licensing policy and said that I needed to buy a new license by 7/31, but the page to do that gives a critical error. I have reported the problem but have not gotten a response. Update – they actually did respond and fixed the problem so I could renew. Rating changed to account for that. This topic was modified 11 months, 3 weeks ago by Barry.

Since May 26, 2022, this plugin has been experiencing issues (which can always happen). Unfortunately, the developer is not responding to my support inquiry. I don’t recommend installing this plugin for safety reasons and a developer who doesn’t care.

No point in the free version; just a bait and switch for the paid version.

Excellent! Would be nice if a quote action jumps to the reply form though!
