What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

I bought this plugin and tried it out on a new blog site. Unfortunately, it does not work unless you already receive regular sales from Amazon. If not, it causes errors across the site. So if you already have an active Amazon affiliate account, this might be great. To their credit, their customer service was fairly responsive and let me know that this problem would not go away until affiliate sales were regular.

TL;DR Not free. Avoid this plugin. It does not work and they’ll keep your money. I installed this plugin and received this error message: Credentials test failed: Error Type: TooManyRequests, Error Message: The request was denied due to request throttling. Please verify the number of requests made per second to the Amazon Product Advertising API I contacted plugin support, and their first response was that I should refresh my Amazon API key. There is no such option on Amazon and hasn’t been for several years, which should’ve been my clue that they haven’t stayed up-to-date with the API changes. I contacted them again, because I was now getting: Error Type: TooManyRequests, Error Message: The request was denied due to request throttling. Please verify the number of requests made per second to the Amazon Product Advertising API. This time, they said to disable all plugins and try again. So, I waited until the middle of the night when I’d only have a hundred or so people on the site, and tried that. No luck. I still received both error messages and thus I contacted the company for the third time. This time they came back with a scattered approach blaming everything. New Affiliate accounts can only have access to API keys after their shop is verified and have generated at least 3 sales. New API keys start working only after 48 hours. If your account hasn’t generated at least 3 referring sales using Product Advertising API in the last 30 days, your account will lose access to Product Advertising API. Also, according to the Amazon Product Advertising API document, the allowed initial usage limit per day is 8640 requests and the limit for each account will be based on the revenue performance of your Product API during the last 30 days. If your Amazon Affiliate account does not adhere to these new rules, you would get an error in the API settings page of our plugin called “RequestThrottled – Something went wrong. Please check your API keys. So, this is the first mention by the plugin maker that having too high of affiliate traffic (the limit of 8640 requests per day) could prevent their plugin from working. Naturally, this was not mentioned in the sales page or at any point prior to taking my money. Which, by the way, they won’t refund.

Tried repeatedly to get the settigns to take the amazon API v,5 keys (which is working fine on other plugins so I know they work) but this plugin will not accept the settings. Put in the problem in the support 3 days ago and no response. Looks like they don’t offer support for this plugin.

AMZImage is a such a time saving plugin. It has the best features any competitive plugin could offer. Never knew updating an article with images will be just done in few clicks. All the images inserted stay within the rules of Amazon. So I am rest assured that the images used in my article are 100% compliant with Amazon TOS. Stuti

One of the best and most customer-friendly plugins. The minimum number of settings allows you to understand it in a short time. Performs its functions at 100%. I highly recommend if you are looking for a simple and at the same time perfectly working solution.
