Biggest opportunity: Add “collaborate”, “post notes” and “customize dashboard” to your wp.org tags. You rank #10, #10 and #16 for them without listing them, close enough for a declared tag to move you up. WordPress.org counts only your first five tags, so with 4 listed these are the slots worth spending.

7.5%

of downloads still active

At least 300 of 4K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Admin & Utilities plugin keeps 0.6%, across 4,188 plugins.

Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Admin & Utilities plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.

This plugin shipped 16 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

This plugin is a pleasure to use. It’s simple, fast, and thoughtfully built. The floating note button is brilliant — always there when I need it, never in the way. I also love that notes can be attached to specific sections of the admin, making them genuinely helpful for day‑to‑day tasks. It feels like a premium tool even though it’s lightweight and minimal. If you rely on notes, reminders, or quick ideas while working in WordPress, this plugin becomes indispensable very quickly. It sometimes happen that the notes become hidden, and I con’t do anything todo that, but I need toclick on show so they appear again. Oh, and it’s a great update with the sticky note that was not there before until the latest update This topic was modified 2 months, 2 weeks ago by effex1.

I’ve been using KeepInMind Dashboard Notes and what really stands out is the user experience. The plugin implements an optimistic UI approach, which makes interactions feel instant. Notes are added, edited, and deleted immediately without waiting for server confirmation. Even though everything is processed in the background, the interface feels fast and smooth. It’s a small detail, but it makes a big difference in daily workflow. Highly recommended for anyone who values clean and responsive UX.
