   Although it hasn’t been updated in years, this plugin is still working fine, even with WordPress 4.9.8. Through the Editor in the Appearance menu (“Design” in the German edition of WP) you can directly edit the plugin’s PHP file where you can set the text you wish to be displayed. Never worry about keeping your blog posts marked as updated. Simple and effective. Five stars all the way. This topic was modified 7 years, 9 months ago by fjordkommission.

   I remember sometime last year or the year before, I searched high and low for a plugin that does what this one does. I honestly don’t know why the feature isn’t integrated into WordPress already but either way, I’m so glad someone took the time to make this plugin because it’s just what I needed. I’m running this plugin on this site right now, which is always up to date on the most recent WordPress installation (currently on WordPress 4.0) and there are no problems. So I wouldn’t worry about compatibility. It’s worked for me through countless updates so far!
