After struggling for hours with Ajax pagination in NexGen Gallery, I came across Optimizer. I couldn’t believe how fast Mark sent a reply to the question I asked relating to my issue. Even better – he solved the problem. Plugin is simple to install and very effective. With support this great I’m going to check out Deactivator as well.

Couldn’t figure out why my Nextgen Plus Lightbox (slideshow) wouldn’t display the -> play button. I disabled Gallery Optimizer and the play button returned. Activated the plugin again and the slideshow play button disappeared. Deleted Gallery Optimizer and all is OK

I’m assuming it’s due to their major changes of NextGen, but this plugin doesn’t remove any backend Scripts/CSS for it at all. Not working – and even adding addition weight / load time in some cases.
