High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 11+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 4.0.38, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

Hi, I had an article which has grown to more than 30 000 words (55 pages). Even Though I uses pagination It become impossible to navigate. I was looking for a way to copy and to cut into copies so that I could generate finally five articles (one article per main chapter), all this keeping all categories and properties. During this I was needing to go on viewing the old version too. I could do it rather quickly using “Prepare new version” Trebly

This plugin takes away may 2-3, maybe 4 other plugins you would have to combine to get all the functionality of this plugin. It is also much easier to create/prepare a new version and in doing to you are taken to the new version instantly. You can then edit it right there, click save, then click update original and your new version of the page is up! Such a productivity booster! Thanks for this addition champ!

We have used it to quickly create a series of test posts for a new theme (using Duplicate). We also use it to prepare new versions of technical doc posts (New Version). Thx for the work !

By using this plugin, we are not have to make changes very fast and review them. We can be sure about existence of a correct version of posts while editing is in progress. Thanks a lot for your excellent job.
