Showcase IDX Real Estate Search & Lead Capture

How well this listing is tuned to rank in WordPress.org search, on the factors an owner controls. Not popularity, optimization.

Directory searches this plugin turns up in, and which way each one is moving. WordPress.org publishes no history of search positions, so this starts the day we first tracked a keyword and never backfills.

wp.org is where the directory puts the plugin for that search. On merit is where it would sit if results were ranked on rating, support and updates, without the install boost. The last column is how far the wp.org position moved, from our first reading in the last 90 days to the latest.

90 searches this plugin appeared in over the last 90 days, 20 listed. 56 left out as unrelated or noise (years, numbers, stray words).

Directory rank vs rivals

wp.org popularity rank over time · higher is better · when a rival's line climbs above yours, they've overtaken you

How often this plugin actually ships. A steady rhythm is the maintenance signal a single "last updated" date can't show.

Share of active installs on each version of this plugin · 86% run the current release. Green is the current release; a big slice on older versions is a user base that has stopped updating.

Crossed into this band 5.5 years ago; the previous band took 4.6 years to cross, which places it about 90% of the way through.

Showcase is the best looking IDX and easy to work with. Thanks for adding sold listings.

This company is now run by some oversees third parties and is very unstable, apparently everyone was replaced? Still haven’t added Sold data after years of promising it.

It’s fine, it has basic features needed and fast. Not so flexible in design especially for the property detail page. But it’s ok, not critical. Other popular IDX plugins are a not so flexible also.Showcase IDX has own CDN to serve images which is one of its advantage. Since CRMLS blocks access from outside of the US, an IDX that has own CDN was only solution and required for us. iHomeFinder was not able to help it since they don’t have own CDN.Only thing I wish to Showcase IDX is that if it were translatable.

Easiest and by far the best looking IDX that is out there. Support can be a little better, but the product speaks for itself. Glad to have my developer quickly integrate ShowcaseIDX onto my site. About the same pricing as other IDXs and would recommend every time. This topic was modified 1 year, 5 months ago by realtor.

I’ve had nothing but issues with Showcase IDX. The plugin caused issues with the load time on my website. I’ve tried everything (caching, removing other plugins), but it doesn’t help. Support, while nice, is really slow and not helpful.

This plugin just works. I’ve tried IDX Broker, ihomefinder, and wolfnet and all of them have data issues. Good luck if you ever want to talk with support at one of those companies. It’s been a few months since my move to showcase. There have been a few minor glitches but the transparency from the team has been great and they’ve been small. and my clients actually use my website now

Could not recommend this IDX, they have promised features over 4 years ago (when they still offered the old version of the IDX) that still have not been delivered as part of the new showcase IDX. Furthermore when you contact support they are not very responsive, they take DAYS to reply if you even get a reply. Their Facebook group doest not allow new posts as they control everything that is posted there and of course they only allow positive feedback be posted, they don’t approve questions or feedback on their product. They said with EXP Holdings acquiring the company it will get better but so far nothing and it has been many many months… Now EXP holdings have access to the leads of every single realtor that ever signed up for showcase IDX.. wow what a conflict, reminds me when Zillow acquired Diverse Solutions (which didn’t last long and zillow had to dump it because of all the negativity and pushback around it). Lastly, the Australian CEO of showcase IDX is arrogant, one time he said he is going on holiday, not to bother him that he needs to rest and doesn’t care… instead of telling customers to work with the rest of his team. I get people need to rest and take holidays but that is not way to communicate with your customers. Do yourself a favor and go with another IDX… Oh, did I mention for SEO purposes showcase IDX lacks a lot as well. The one thing is nice about this IDX is the design and layout, that is pretty much all they have. Full Disclosure: I am an SEO expert and have built websites that rank #1 in Google competing with Zillow, Realtor, Redfin and so forth. Trust me, this plugin is not good for SEO.
