Biggest opportunity: Swap “navigation”, “page link” and “call to action” for “new tab”, “pippin williamson” and “wiki”. “navigation” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “new tab” sits at #4 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “page link” isn't earning its slot: you're not in the first 24 results for its own search. “pippin williamson” sits at #5 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. “call to action” isn't earning its slot: it only gets you to #18. “wiki” sits at #9 untagged, close enough for a declared tag to move it up. All five slots are taken, so one has to go.

How it's measured →4.2%
of downloads still active
At least 10K of 238K lifetime downloads are still running, above its category: the median Uncategorized plugin keeps 0.6%, across 17,766 plugins.
Downloads count every update, not just first installs, so older and more frequently released plugins read lower. Compare against other Uncategorized plugins, not across the directory. wp.org reports active installs as the bottom of a band, so the real rate is this or higher.
This plugin shipped 3 releases in the last 12 months, and every existing install that updated counted as another download. wp.org publishes no split between first installs and updates, so we show the raw rate rather than guess at one.

What to do about it
- Swap “navigation”, “page link” and “call to action” for “new tab”, “pippin williamson” and “wiki”. Simple slide in tab is a fantastic plugin that I have been using on other sites for years. “Discreet”, yet powerful at the same time. It works perfectly, load fast and is always updated. Scot, the author is very responsive!

Ok, firstly I want to thank you for making this awesome easy to use plugin. But I do feel a bit silly – I should have checked it out years ago, finally got off my butt tonight and it was simple to set up and use (unlike everything else I’ve been trying to do on my site recently). So thanks again. And you seem to offer great support judging by the comments from Scot so thank you! Don’t listen to the haters you’ve done well, great work. Helps us small business owners who struggle against the giants these days with online shopping and fb ad rip-offs.

A great simple solution to adding a tab to my site. The previous comment that the link only goes to the developers website is not true. Once you edit and add your own URL it is permanently set.

Yes this plugin is easy to install and use. But if you notice it automatically creates the link to developers website rumspeed.com. even if you change it, it will get updated to the old url. Vinoth
