Was imagining this type of plugin and it fulfilled my every dream. 🙂 It would be nice for it to submit it automatically but a shortcut in my life is always a good thing.

This tool assumes that you have your Google Search Console sorted out already, linked to your site. I use Yoast, and I have that part sorted out already. The Submit to Google Index Button is a cool add-on once you have that set up, because it saves you the bother of having to manually launch the Console every time you want to submit a new page for indexing, or to request indexing for some changes on an existing page. I find it very useful. It is super-easy to install and to use.
