High removal-risk signals

63/100

Maintenance and integrity signals that tend to precede a WordPress.org removal. Not an official status, a heads-up to act.

  • Long abandoned. No update in 17+ years — the top precursor to removal once a vulnerability is found.
  • Compatibility drift. Tested only up to WordPress 2.7, well behind 6.8.

Update activity

How busy the existing users are, measured as downloads in the last 30 days for every 1,000 active sites. A spike means a new release everyone's pulling; a long, slow decline means an aging user base that updates less.

Estimated value

What this plugin might earn a year, and what it might sell for. Modeled from public signals; we don't see anyone's books.

Est. annual revenue

N/A

Est. acquisition value

N/A

No paid tier is visible, so we don't put a figure on revenue or sale value: that would be guessing. The install base is a real asset to an acquirer, just not one public data lets us price. A small install base leaves thin data to model from.

I’ve been using this plugin for 2 years now. I use it for delivering my images from Amazon S3. It is just perfect!

Works great! I’ve been using this since my site is graphics-intensive, and S3 does a better, quicker, more reliable job of delivering lots of graphics quickly (compared to my shared server where my site lives). This plug-in makes it easy to automatically upload everything to S3 instead of the shared server. Works as intended, and the setup instructions are easy to follow. 5 stars.

Works well when I could not find any other plugin that could upload to Amazon S3 without me installing some Linux modules or having major bugs. I am quite amazed. Well done Joe Tan. Shame that you discontinued your web site.
